In the last 15 years, 141 students have obtained a doctoral degree from the School of Chemistry, of whom 10 (7%) are not known. The distribution of their positions are shown in the graph below:
44% of the graduates work in Hungary and hold research, R&D, engineering and other management positions in large industrial enterprises (e.g., Bosch, Contitech, MOL, Richter Gedeon) and small businesses (e.g., Echemicles, Petrolterv, Soneas). 25 % of the graduates have academic teaching and research positions at universities or at HUN-REN research institutes, from which several of them have won ERC and/or Momentum grants, Bolyai fellowships, or other NRDIH research grants. 24% of the graduates are currently abroad: 19% are postdocs or lecturers in foreign universities (mostly in EU countries), while 5% have found their career in industry in different parts of the world (EU, Egypt, Indonesia, China, USA). Most importantly, they use their knowledge in chemistry or related fields.
