Our group led by Prof. Zoltán Kónya conducts research into fundamental properties and processes associated with mainly crystalline surfaces. Our interests range from theoretical surface science to more applied properties of direct relevance to real-world problems including adsorption and catalysis.
Our team of dedicated scientists have impressive track records in materials and surfaces research. To date, our researchers have produced over 500 publications and have been granted >20 patents in the field of materials and surface sciences.
