KINETICS OF HETEROGENEOUS PROCESSES
The coupling of precipitation reactions and transport processes leads to products significantly different from those prepared in simple continously stirred batch reactors.
To determine the time scale of the reaction compared to that of hydrodynamics, we characterize the temporal evolution of the precipitation by studying the applicability of the mass action kinetics compared to the classical nucleation theory.
