EXPERIMENTS IN MICROGRAVITY
The decoupling of the different gradients allows the investigation of the effects of the induced transport processes separately and hence the design of complex systems.
We have studied the surface tension induced convection of chemical fronts in microgravity in parabolic flights and MASER sounding rockets of ESA. Currently our objective is to design and carry out ground reference experiments related to morphology-controlled precipitation reactions as preliminary tests for parabolic flights.
