NUMERICAL MODELLING
To understand the experimental observations, the interactions of dissolution, crystallization and chemical reactions with transport processes are solved numerically in two and three spatial dimensions. Furthermore, the effects of external electric and magnetic fields on mass transport are also incorporated.
The modelling not only can explain the experimental results but also may give predictions of new phenomena.
