8-13 September, 2013.: Dr. Emese Peintler-Kriván and Dr. Csaba Janáky participated in the 64th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry, which was held in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico. Emese presented her latest findings in the poster section, while Csaba held an oral lecture. 8 July, 2013.: Attila Kormányos and Gergely Samu will both continue their research activity as Ph. D. students in our Research Group. Congratulations to both of them! 1 July, 2013.: Dr. Csaba Janáky has successfully finished the first 2 year long periodof his Marie Curie Outgoing Fellowship. During this time, he took part in the work of Krishnan Rajeshwar’s Research Group at the University of Arlington, USA. Csaba will continue his work in our Research Group at the University of Szeged. 19 May – 2 June, 2013.: Balázs Endrődi spent 2 weeks in Paris as a visiting researcher in the Research Group of Dr. Mohamed Jouini at the Université Paris Diderot - Paris 7 University. His stay could be realized with the help of the two-sided R&D project, between the two Research Groups. 18-19 April, 2013.: Attila Kormányos presented his most recent findings on „The novel scientific achievements of sensorics – workshop V.” conference in Pécs. The title of his lecture: „Fixation of laccase enzyme into conducting polymer matrix, assisted by chemical interaction with modified magnetite nanoparticles.” 4-6 April, 2013.: From our Researh Group three students (Ditta Anita Ungor, Attila Kormányos, Gergely Ferenc Samu) participated in the Chemical Division of the XXXI. National Scientific Students’ Associations Conference in Eger. We congratulate on their high standard works and on the III. place awarded to Gergely Ferenc Samu. 17-21 March, 2013.: Balázs Endrődi travelled to Bochum, Germany to attend to the 12th Topical Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry conference. He presented his bioelectrochemical themed work in the poster section.  1-9 March, 2013.: Dr. Csaba Visy presented the Research Group’s work on the Third International Conference on Multifunctional, Hybrid and Nanomaterials Conference in Sorrento, Italy. 13-19 December, 2012.: Dr. Csaba Visy travelled to the Abo Akademi University in Turku, Finland, where he carried out the work of a jury in a Ph. D. dissertation committee. Later he held a lecture at the University of Turku as an invited lecturer. 8-23 December 2012.: With the help of a two-sided R&D project, professor Dr. Mohamed Jouini from the Université Paris Diderot - Paris 7 University visited our Research Group. Shorty after Balázs Endrődi spent 10 days at the laboratory of our French partner as a visiting researcher. 20 November 2012.: Ditta Ungor, Gergely Samu and Attila Kormányos presented their work on the Local Scientific Students’ Associations Conference, where they all received II. place, qualifying them to participate in the National Conference. Congratulations! 2 July, 2012.: Zsófia Lukács will continue her research activity as a Ph. D. student in our Research Group. Congratulations! 3-8th June 2012: The 7th Workshop on the Electrochemistry of Electroactive Materials international electrochemical  conference was held in our country, in Szeged-Hódmezővásárhely. The president of the local organizing committee was  Professor Csaba Visy, the head of the Electrochemistry Research Group.  During the conference 65 researchers from 22 different countries presented their own research activities by 44 oral and 15  poster presentations.   23 May, 2012.: Annamária Bíró, Ditta Ungor and András Varga successfully defended their bachelor’s theses, and received the highest grade (5). In the same time Zsófia Lukács also defended her master’s thesis, with the highest grade (5). Congratulations for their good grades! Keep up the good work! 10 May, 2012.: Péter Sándor Tóth successfully defended his Ph. D. dissertation and is rewarded with the highest grade „summa cum laude”. Péter Sándor Tóth: Achievement of simultaneous spectroelectrochemical and in situ conductance techniques and their application to the characterisation of the redox transformation of conducting polymers. 10 May, 2012. 10-24 April, 2012.: With the help of a two-sided R&D project Dr. Csaba Visy spent two weeks at the Université Paris Diderot - Paris 7 University in France as a visiting researcher and participated in the Laboratoire d'Excellence Science and Engineering for Advanced Materials (SEAM) event. He held an oral lecture, with the title: „New electrodes, based on conducting polymers - synthesis, characterization and perspectives in their applications”. 8 March 2012.: The Chemical Division of The Hungarian Academy of Sciences awarded Dr. Csaba Visy, the head of our Research Group with the Mihály Polányi Prime Award in 2011. Congratulations for this outstanding achievement! 4-11th December 2011.: Prof. Mohamed Jouini and Dr. Christian Perruchot visited our research group in Szeged,  apropos of the collaboration within the confines of the TÉT_10-1-2011-0713 tender.
