Erzsébet Illés held a lecture at  the International Symposium of Amphiphilic Polymers, Networks, Gels and Membranes” symposium entitled “Designing a new multifunctional PEG-polycarboxylate shell on nanomagnets for biological use” at the Research Centre for Natural Sciences, Budapest, Hungary. Ildikó Tóth held a lecture at  the Intelligent materials in the biomedicine” workshop entitled “Magnetic nanoparticles, theranostic applications” at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. Etelka Tombácz, Erzsébet Illés and Ildikó Tóth had oral presentations at the 5th Zing Bionanomaterials Conference (Carvoeiro, Portugal). COST workshop entitled “Medical requirements for Magnetic Hyperthermia application” of the TD1402 RADIOMAG e-COST action in Lisbon, Portugal. The H2020-NMP-2015 Full-Proposal “Nanomedicine therapy for cancer” (SPIONs4CancerTherapy) has been successfully submitted; our group is involving as project partner in it. Erzsébet Illés and Ildikó Tóth were granted by the “Campus Hungary short-term mobility grant for university staff” to attend the 5th Zing Bionanomaterials Conference (Carvoeiro, Portugal) and hold lectures in April, 2015. The M-era.Net Full-Proposal Designed magnetic nanoparticles - theranostic agents for amyloid-related diseases” (AMYLOMAG) has been successfully submitted; our group is involving as project partner in it. 4 papers authored by Erzsébet Illés, Ildikó Tóth and Daniel Neszter were published in the special issue (10th Magnetic Carriers Conference) of Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials

A seminar lecture entitled Nanomedicine - the SEON concept was given by Jan Zaloga (Visitor researcher from University Hospital of Erlangen, Section of Experimental Oncology and Nanomedicine, Erlangen, Germany) Erzsébet Illés was granted by the “Campus Hungary short-term mobility grant for university staff” to attend the EUROMEDLAB2015 Conference (Paris, France) and present a poster in June, 2015. 1st Managment Committee (MC) meeting of the TD1402 RADIOMAG (Multifunctional Nanoparticles for Magnetic Hyperthermia and Indirect Radiation Therapy) COST action in Brussels A lecture was given by E.Tombácz (Interactions at the bio-nano interfaces of SPIONs) and 3 posters were presented by the groupmembers (E. Illés, I. Tóth and D. Nesztor) on the 6th SIWAN Conference, Szeged (Hungary) A lecture was given by E.Tombácz (Interactions at the bio-nano interfaces of magnetite nanoparticles) on the Physnet workshop, Stara Lesna, Slovakia 57th Congress of Hungarian Society of Laboratory Medicine, Nyíregyháza (Hungary): in the frame of the cooperation with Institute of Laboratory Medicine (University of Szeged) a poster entitled “Examination of Biocompatibility of Magnetite Nanoparticles Designed for Medical Use” was awarded by the “Best Poster Prize” and selected for presentation in Paris on EUROMEDLAB 2015 10th International Conference on the Scientific and Clinical Applications of Magnetic Carriers in TU Dresden  - 5 posters were presented by the groupmembers The final evaluation of the COST proposal "Multifunctional Nanoparticles for Magnetic Hyperthermia and Indirect Radiation Therapy" (RADIOMAG) is outstanding - it has been selected for realisation :) Part 1-2: the lab and our office was succesfully moved into the renovated Bolyai building Kalocsa, Hungary: lecture was given by Erzsébet Illés (”Magnetic fluids for biomedical application”) in the Szent István High School in the frame of Öveges Programme (TÁMOP-3.1.3.-11/2-2012-0004) Subotica, Serbia: lecture was given by Etelka Tombácz (”2D-association study on bile acids by Langmuir balance experiments”) on TUDÁSTÉRKÉP “Vajdasági Magyar Tudóstalálkozó 2014” meeting I. I. Tóth was awarded by the 1st prize and the Silver Medal of Academic Committee of Szeged (Szeged, Hungary) for her research “Synthesis and surface modification of magnetite nanoparticles by polyanionic protective layers” I.
