and Membranes” symposium entitled “Designing a new multifunctional PEG-polycarboxylate shell on
nanomagnets for biological use” at the Research Centre for Natural Sciences, Budapest, Hungary.
Ildikó Tóth held a lecture at the „Intelligent materials in the biomedicine” workshop entitled “Magnetic
nanoparticles, theranostic applications” at the University of Debrecen, Hungary.
Etelka Tombácz, Erzsébet Illés and Ildikó Tóth had oral presentations at the 5th Zing Bionanomaterials
Conference (Carvoeiro, Portugal).

The H2020-NMP-2015 Full-Proposal “Nanomedicine therapy for cancer” (SPIONs4CancerTherapy) has

Erzsébet Illés and Ildikó Tóth were granted by the “Campus Hungary short-term mobility grant for university
staff” to attend the 5th Zing Bionanomaterials Conference (Carvoeiro, Portugal) and hold lectures in April,
2015.
The M-era.Net Full-Proposal “Designed magnetic nanoparticles - theranostic agents for amyloid-related
diseases” (AMYLOMAG) has been successfully submitted; our group is involving as project partner in it.

Biocompatibility of Magnetite Nanoparticles Designed for Medical Use” was awarded by the “Best Poster
Prize” and selected for presentation in Paris on EUROMEDLAB 2015

Hungary) for her research “Synthesis and surface modification of magnetite nanoparticles by polyanionic
protective layers”
