Course description:
Educational programmes and alternative textbooks in physics in secondary and primary schools. Specialisation modules in secondary schools. Journals in methodology of physics teaching in Hungary and abroad. Materials of Hungarian and international conferences on physics teaching. Physics textbooks abroad. Thesis works on teaching new trends in physics. The application of computers in physics teaching. Complementary materials in physics teaching. Nurturing gifted students, competitions in physics in the secondary school. The special methods of teaching adults, the possibilities of teacher's training. Popularisation and the physics teacher. The role of physics in the new schedule schemes of schools. Audio-visual tools. The place and role of physics problem solving, problem books. The question of energy production in physics teaching. The national programme of fundamental education (NAT) and physics. The role of experiments in physics teaching. Control and assessment. Material conditions of physics teaching.
